⁴³ Therefore if your hand causes you to offend, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed than, having two hands, to go into hell, into fire that never shall be quenched, ⁴⁴ where their worm dies not and the fire never goes out. ⁴⁵ Likewise, if your foot causes you to offend, cut it off.
